I started writing romance in 3rd grade because I got annoyed there weren't more romantic cartoons.
My first "novel" was fanfic for The Three Musketeers. It will never see the light of day.
I started writing to publish during the pandemic, when I wanted to create more historical romances about strong women and feminist heroes.
My favorite authors are Tessa Dare, Sarah MacLean, and Christina Lauren.
I do most of my writing in the parking lot outside of my kids' various music and sports practices.
If I could, I would leave my Christmas lights up year round. They usually stay up until March as it is.
I have far too many pets -- two big and stupid dogs, two neurotic cats, and a relatively chill hermit crab.
English is my first language, but I am fluent in Spanish.
I am absolutely terrified of birds. Cower on the ground holding my head and screaming level of terrified. I'm also scared of getting hit in the head with fly balls at baseball games.
For a brief time I was a professional singer, but most of my singing now takes place in the car or in my classroom.
